Knee Physical Therapyin South Denver metro area

The knee is the most commonly injured joint in all age groups. It is especially susceptible to damage during athletic activities and exercise. Many knee injuries can be treated conservatively with rest, ice, mobilization, and physical therapy. Knee pain may be the result of an injury, such as a ruptured ligament or torn cartilage. However, certain medical conditions, including arthritis, gout and infection, may be at the root of your knee pain. Some common causes of knee pain and injuries include:

  • A blow to the knee, either from contact during sports, a fall or a car accident
  • Repeated stress or overuse, which may occur from playing sports or any other activity that requires frequent repetition.
  • Sudden turning, pivoting, stopping, cutting from side to side, which happens frequently during certain sports.
  • Awkward landings from a fall or from jumping during sports, such as basketball.
  • Rapidly growing bones, which are especially prone to injury during sports.
  • Degeneration from aging.

Peak Performance Physical Therapy & Sports Training is great for physical therapy. I am happy with the sessions with Taylor LaCouture. He is very instrumental on helping me feel good and getting my range back in motion. I feel better after each session. Taylor is knowledgeable, friendly, easygoing and professional. Also, Henrietta who runs the front office is always a pleasure to talk to on the phone and a pleasant, smiling person to greet and help you when you come in.

I truly love the people in this office! I was in an accident a few years back and waited quite a long time before getting into therapy because I didn’t know how I was going to afford it. They completely understood where I was coming from and made sure to send me home with plenty of exercises to do at home so that I could come every other week because that’s what my budget could handle. I am very happy with the results from where I was and where I am now. It feels good to get back to normal things without being in pain anymore. Thank you!!!

Taylor was been awesome with all my therapy over the last 2 years. He has worked with me after 9 surgeries after a 30’ fall. He cares about his patients and listens to their questions and concerns. I highly recommend Taylor.

The whole team here is great. I had ankle surgery and from the moment I stepped into the office they were communicative, kind, patient and supportive of my needs. If you follow their exercises at home and do your part at the clinic you’ll be doing grear in no time.

Great facility that is clean and well-equipped with great people who are friendly, competent, and committed. Makes for an enjoyable experience. Peak has been my PT facility for one hip, two shoulders, now a lower back problem, and next month for my second hip. Can’t beat ’em!!
